"We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better band than Tommy and the Big Guns/Tommy & Sons for our wedding. From start to finish they were professional, self-sufficient, and so easy to work with. Setup was completely straightforward, timings were flexible on the day, and the whole process felt seamless. The sound was absolutely incredible, with the brass section and double bass adding something really special that our guests are still talking about. The atmosphere they created was pure party energy – the dancefloor was full all night, and both of us (bride and groom) didn’t stop dancing once! Their crowd interaction was fantastic, and they even gave me a big moment by letting me jump on the mic with Ian, which was unforgettable. If you’re looking for a great wedding and function band that offers something a little different, we might be just what you’re after.
We are Tommy & Sons and we have spent many years perfecting our sound so that we can provide you with the very best party songs in a folk/Mumford & Sons style. We can work with any type of event but are particularly suited to a barn or festival themed wedding or event.
Our aim is to make sure that you and your guests have absolutely the best time, and you can read our reviews section to see that this is what we achieve at every booking we do.
Worried about it not being upbeat enough? The style we have can either be as an acoustic roaming band or a static band. If you want to add even more oooomph into the evening then we can even bring down and electric bass and guitar and do one set a bit heavier if that is something you are after.

When not playing we provide a basic DJ service for you as well, so you can be sure to have music all night with no extra expenses of getting a DJ in.
We come fully self contained with PA & Lighting and have Public Liability Insurance for your venue.
